Level 2 Practitioner Hands-on Training Programme Date: 4th - 8th April 2016 (including two day seminar) Cost: £1995.00 Time: 9:30 - 17:00 seminar days 9:00 - 16:00 hands-on days The Greenspan Floortime Approach® (TGFA) intensive training programme will consist of initial prerequisite learning, 2-3 consecutive in-person training days, and 6 video submissions for group analysis calls over the following 6-12 months. Graduation from this training programme grants the individual permission to use The Greenspan Floortime Approach® trademark for advertising purposes describing the Floortime service they provide to children during their sessions. Or as a title describing the Floortime service they provide to children during their sessions and as a credential they have earned from completing the Level 2 'TGFA Practitioner' training. The Science of Greenspan Floortime Jake Greenspan In the early 1970s, a young child psychiatrist named Dr. Stanley Greenspan said that at birth all children have emotional experiences and emotional systems. He believed it was these emotional experiences that drove the developmental process of each child and encouraged their interaction with the world. He also said that it is these emotional experiences and emotional perceptions that help us organize and integrate the different parts of our brain to develop a true understanding of the world around us.
